Just released: De Grendel Shiraz 2009
Our De Grendel Shiraz 2009 has just been released to great acclaim. Floral on the nose, the lovely coriander, lavender and white pepper are some of the characteristics. This full structured wine is well supported by oak undertones and sweet ripe tannins.
Delicious with: roasts, especially leg of lamb or slow-roasted lamb shanks. It also goes particularly well with tomato based foods or a full-flavoured rib-eye steak with a peppery sauce. With summer in mind it is great with Korean barbequed short-ribs. Want a red wine to match your well-aged cheddar or blue, then this is a good pick.
Good to know: De Grendel Shiraz has an aging potential of up to 10 years.
